I have always loved to write and cannot remember a time when it was not an essential part of my life. I write mostly fiction and a bit of poetry and creative non-fiction. My first novel, Out Stealing Water, will be published by Regal House Press in 2022. My short story, Turbulence, published in Ocotillo Review was nominated for the 2019 Pushcart prize for short fiction.  You can read this story and a few others on this site.  My stories have appeared in Forge, Four Chambers Literary Magazine, Soundings Review, Lascaux Review, Lunaris Review,  Journal of Microliterature, Saranac Review and Reunion: The Dallas Review. I have published poems in I70 Review, NewVerseNews and International Times. I live in the Phoenix area which is the setting for much of my fiction.
