I have always loved to write and cannot remember a time when it was not an essential part of my life. I write fiction and poetry and occassionally creative non-fiction. My first novel, Out Stealing Water, was published by Regal House Press in 2022. My poetry book, Hours of the Desert,  was published by Kelsay Books in 2024 and my second poetry collection will be published in 2026. My short story, Turbulence, Ocotillo Review was nominated for the 2019 Pushcart prize for short fiction.  You can read this story and a few others on this site.  My stories have appeared in various journals including Baltimore Review, Forge, Four Chambers Literary Magazine, Soundings Review, Lascaux Review, Lunaris Review,  Journal of Microliterature, Saranac Review and Reunion: The Dallas Review. I70 Review, NewVerseNews and International Times. I live in the Phoenix area which is the setting for much of my writing.
